We have finally had all the paperwork to start running the Good Citizen Scheme.

We have a new dog, Tilly, she is a Springer Spaniel, 18 months old. She is quite nervous but loves playing with balls and lots of cuddles !!!!!

The kennels are now complete, we now need to start on the outside run with crazy pathing which means smashing up the path thats out there and starting again !

George still here and seems to come home a bit more often now, perhaps because he likes to lay on my bed in the sunshine or curled up on the kitchen chair at teatime !

The dogs loved all the snow we had and so did I

Unfortunately I have some sad news, we have decided to find a new home for our goats as I would like a Labrador stud dog and I have not got time for all. We have cut down on the rabbits and near enough stopped breeding them and have decided to cut down on all our pets and concentrate on the dogs for the time being. Also the paddock that the goats are in is a ideal training ground as it is all fenced in.

On a better note we have as I said decided to get in our own stud dog, we are looking for a dog with a good pedigree with FTCH included and parents to have a good hip score and clear eyes. He must be between the ages of 8wks to 2 yrs and I will train him here so not looking for a trained gundog. So if anyone knows of one that needs a good home with lots of love to give please let me know.

Sunny our new male Labrador arrived in May from Jim & Jean Cochrane. He is now 5 months old and training is going really well. He does all his positions, retrieves in long grass and his stays are fantastic (thats due to him being a bit lazy) he is very greedy and loves his food, typical Lab !

The goats have all gone, mum and baby went to Baytree Garden Centre and having a great time near the childrens park with a lovely paddock and chickens to talk too. They are being fed well and have gorgeous collars and name tags, Tear and Rose.

The baby boy and three girls went to a lovely couple near Newark with 7 acres and horses they are going to have a great life there and I am really pleased they all went to such great homes.

Got to say though it is very quiet here now !!!!!

Andy hatched off 18 chicks this year hopefully not to many cockerals in there !

We have baby guinea pigs for sale and one male Lionhead rabbit.

Ella and Diz have both been mated, Dizzy is definately pregnant and due 22nd September, she is huge and still got three weeks to go ! She was mated to Blaze a working tri coloured Cocker Spaniel.

Ella was mated to Bertie a working chocolate labrador we do not know if she has taken or not yet but we will let you know as soon as we do. As Ellas parents are both balck, she is yellow with pink pigmentation, mated to a chocolate who knows what colours she may have.

We are now taking enquiries on the pups
